Publishing & SEO basics
Your edits stay in a draft until you publish. Search basics are set up for you.
Draft and published
- Everything you change, by hand or with AI, goes into your draft.
- Choose Preview to see the draft as clients will, on phone and desktop.
- Choose Publish to put it live. It takes a few seconds.
- Choose Unpublish to take the site offline. Your content is kept, and publishing again is one click.
Before a site goes live
Every publish runs a quick safety check. Links to login or payment pages on other sites, and names that copy another brand, are held back. If something is held, the editor says what to change.
SEO basics
Set up for you on every plan:
- Page titles and descriptions, written from your business name, type and city. Edit them per page, or ask the AI.
- A sitemap that updates itself when you add or remove pages, so search engines find every page.
- Fast, phone-first pages, which Google rewards.
- A clean address for each page, like
/servicesor/about. - Link previews with your name, description and main photo when your link is shared on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook.
Help people find you
- Put your website link on your Google Business Profile. See Share your booking link.
- Use the same business name, address and phone everywhere.
- Mention your neighbourhood or city in your headline or About section.
- Add a short description to each photo when the editor asks. It helps search engines and screen readers.
Note
A new site can take a few days to a few weeks to show up on Google. Nobody can guarantee a ranking; good content and a complete Google Business Profile help the most.
