Comebacks & Results
The comeback message
A short, friendly note with real open times — sent automatically, within your limits.
Note
Comebacks and Results come with the Booking and Front Desk plans.
What clients get
Rebook, from 2 days before the due date up to 14 days after:
“Hi Jordan! It’s been about 3 weeks since your Skin fade with Andre. Andre has Thu 3:00 PM, Fri 11:00 AM, or Sat 10:30 AM open — want me to book one? — Fade Street”
Win-back, once, when they’re 45 days overdue (by default):
“Hi Jordan! We miss you at Fade Street. We have Thu 3:00 PM, Fri 11:00 AM open — want me to save you a spot?”
When we don’t know who they usually see (for example an imported client whose file didn’t say), the message names nobody: “It’s been about 5 weeks since your last haircut. We have … open”.
- The times are real open times in the next 7 days, with their usual team member first, then anyone. Tapping one books it through the assistant.
- If there’s nothing open, the message isn’t sent.
- Messages are in the client’s language. Texts end with “Reply STOP to opt out.” and use your plan’s texts.
- It goes on WhatsApp first, then SMS, then Instagram. Never by email.
Turning comebacks on
Comebacks are off for a new business. Nothing is sent until you turn Send comeback messages on in Settings → Messages & reminders (the Today item Set up comebacks takes you there). The Comebacks page shows who is due either way, so you can look first.
Imported clients wait for you
After you import clients, the Comebacks page shows how many imported clients are due and the first message they would get. Nothing is planned for them until you choose Let Comebacks invite them. Until then their row says “Imported: waiting for you to review imported clients”.
Your settings

The Comebacks page
Everyone who is due, by stage, with what happens next. For each client you can:
- Send now (outside your sending hours, it offers to schedule it for when they open),
- Skip this time, Snooze 7, 14 or 30 days, or Resume,
- Exclude them from comebacks (or include them again),
- Book them into an opening yourself.
Every action checks permission, quiet hours, the gap between messages and the 90-day limit again, and is recorded. Check who’s due now looks for newly due clients straight away (it also runs every 30 minutes).
Important
Comebacks only go to clients with marketing permission. Today that means Canadian clients of Canadian businesses with a visit in the last two years, and imported clients whose last visit was under two years ago — see Consent & marketing permission.
Comebacks go out automatically once they’re on. You control them per client from the Comebacks page.
Feedback after visits
Separately from comebacks, clients can get “How was your Haircut with Andre? Rate it from 1 to 5.” 3 hours after a completed visit (Settings → Messages & reminders → Feedback & reviews).
- A rating of 3 stars or less alerts you right away, so you can follow up.
- If you add your review link, everyone gets the same link. We never hide it from unhappy clients (“review gating” breaks Google’s rules).
