Booking & calendar
Team & hours
Who takes appointments, and when. Bookable times come from each person’s own working hours — not from your shop’s opening hours.
People who take bookings
In Settings → Team & hours (Owner and Manager), each person has:
- A name, a calendar colour and a short bio.
- Working hours for each day, in 5-minute steps, with up to one break a day. New people start at Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00.
- Services they do. You can’t save a change that would leave a service with nobody to do it.
- Taking new bookings — switch off to stop new bookings without removing them.
- Active — inactive people are hidden everywhere.
A person with a calendar doesn’t need a login. To let someone sign in, add a login and link it to their calendar — see Roles & permissions.
Opening hours vs. working hours
| Opening hours | Working hours | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | Settings → Your business | Settings → Team & hours, per person |

Tip
Use Match team hours in Settings → Your business to copy your team’s hours into your opening hours.
How open times are worked out
- Start with the working hours of everyone who does the service and is taking bookings.
- Take away their time off, breaks and blocks, shop closures, and existing appointments (including prep and clean-up time, and times on hold).
- Offer start times on your grid — every 15 minutes by default (Booking rules → Offer start times every). A 10:00 shift offers 10:00, 10:15, 10:30…
- The appointment itself must fit inside working hours. Clean-up time may run past the end of a shift, but never into another appointment.
- Apply your booking rules — minimum notice, how far ahead, and so on — for bookings made by clients and the assistant.
Everything uses your business time zone (Settings → Your business → Timezone).
