Clients
Client privacy
Control what your team sees, and export or erase a client’s data when they ask.
Hiding contact details from providers
In Settings → Team & hours → What providers see, Hide client phone numbers and emails is on by default. Providers then don’t see phone numbers, emails or addresses anywhere — Customers, Calendar, Inbox. Owners, Managers and Front desk always see them.
Providers only ever see their own clients: anyone with an appointment on their calendar, past or future, or who has them as their usual team member. See Roles & permissions.
Export a client’s data
On the client’s profile, Privacy → Export downloads a file with everything held about them: details, appointments, conversations, permissions and ratings. Owner and Manager only.
Erase a client
Privacy → Delete personal data (Owner and Manager). You type the client’s name, or DELETE, to confirm.
| Removed | Kept |
|---|---|
| Name, phone, email, notes, tags | Appointments, without anything that identifies the person — so your totals still add up |
| Conversations and messages | A scrambled fingerprint of their numbers, so an opt-out is still respected |
| Ratings comments, contact points, permission addresses |
Important
Erasing can’t be undone, and it also makes any merge involving this client impossible to undo.
If the same person messages you again later, they start as a new client, with marketing off.
