AI front desk

Languages

The AI front desk is multilingual: it replies in each client’s own language, and switches when they do — even partway through a conversation.

How it picks a language

For every message, the assistant looks at what the client just typed (button taps don’t count). If it can’t tell — a quick “ok” or an emoji — it keeps the language of the conversation, then the client’s saved language, then your business’s main language.

A reply that comes out in the wrong language is rewritten before it’s sent. When a client switches language, the assistant switches with them and saves the new language on their profile.

Which languages

English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and many more: the assistant writes in whatever language the client uses. You don’t need to set anything up for each language.

Tip

Write your description, FAQ answers and notes in the language you’re most comfortable with. The assistant uses the facts in them and answers each client in their own language.

Booking page, reminders and other messages

Your booking page, chat page, reminders, confirmations and buttons follow the client’s language too, so a client who books in Portuguese gets their reminder in Portuguese.

Your main language

Your business’s main language (Settings → Your business) is used when the assistant can’t tell what a client speaks, and for the short spoken message callers hear on missed-call text-back.

Your dashboard language

Your own screens have their own setting: Settings → Preferences → Language. That choice is personal and doesn’t change what language the assistant uses with clients.
