Waitlist

When nothing suits a client, the assistant can put them on the waitlist — and offer them a time the moment one opens up.

Joining

When there’s no suitable time, the assistant offers the waitlist. It records the service, a team member if they have a preference, the dates (up to 30 days ahead) and, optionally, the earliest and latest time of day that works.

When a time opens up

  1. A confirmed appointment is cancelled or moved.

  2. Matching people are found

Oldest request first: right service, dates, team member and time of day — and the time must still be bookable under your rules. Times less than an hour away are skipped.

  3. Up to 3 people get a message

“Good news, Sam! A spot opened up for Haircut with Andre: Thu 3:00 PM. Want it? Reply yes and I’ll book it.” with a Yes, book it button.

  4. First to accept gets it

The calendar makes double-booking impossible, so only one person can get the time.

Waitlist bookings count as Direct in Results. Waitlist requests expire after their last date.

Note

The waitlist comes with the Booking and Front Desk plans.
